After a string of seven wins, Alcorn Central's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 16-1 to the Kossuth Aggies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bears have suffered since February 27th.

Alcorn Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Glorianna Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Alcorn Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Kossuth, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kossuth beat Alcorn Central by a score of 13-1 on Thursday.
