Basketball Game Preview: Sierra Pacific Golden Bears vs. Selma Bears

The Sierra Pacific Golden Bears will face off against the Selma Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Sierra Pacific came up short against Central Valley Christian and fell 57-48. The Golden Bears have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Selma). They walked away with a 77-69 victory over Kerman on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Sierra Pacific's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Selma, their victory bumped their record up to 5-20.

Sierra Pacific was able to grind out a solid win over Selma in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 82-73. Will Sierra Pacific repeat their success, or does Selma have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
