Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caroline). They were the clear victors by a 23-2 margin over the Chancellor Chargers on Friday. The Cavaliers have beaten the Chargers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Chargers has come to flipping the script.
Jaidyn Tingen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
In other batting news, Caroline got a massive performance out of Jordyn Wilkerson, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. King William will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Caroline surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chancellor, they will challenge Westmoreland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
