Volleyball Recap: Midlands STEM Charter Victorious

Midlands STEM Charter hadn't done well against Riverwalk Academy recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Mavericks blew past the Lions 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Mavericks: when they faced off against the Lions back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Midlands STEM Charter not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Riverwalk Academy between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-20.

Midlands STEM Charter's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Riverwalk Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

As for Riverwalk Academy, they will head out to square off against Great Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
