Central Kitsap scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 79-47 defeat at the hands of the Timberline Blazers. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Blazers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Timberline's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kenyon Simmons led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards. Those 13 boards gave Simmons a new career-high. Carmelo Roper was another key player, going 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points along with seven boards and five steals.

Central Kitsap's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Timberline, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
