Soccer Game Preview: Windber vs. North Star

The Windber Ramblers will venture away from home to challenge the North Star Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

North Star will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Windber extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Ramblers were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over Mount Union. It was an even better day for Damian Miller as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, North Star hasn't lost a match since September 17th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They put the hurt on Mount Union with a sharp 4-1 win. The matchup was close at halftime, but North Star turned on the heat in the second half with two goals.

Windber now has a winning record of 7-6. As for North Star, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1.

Windber might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from North Star in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Ramblers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
