Volleyball Recap: Stern Comes Up Short on the Road Against Central City Value

Stern had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Central City Value Jaguars on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

While Stern was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-23, 25-17.

Central City Value has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Stern will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Smidt Tech at 2:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Central City Value, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Larchmont Charter at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
