Baseball Recap: Marana Comes Up Short

Marana fell victim to Chandler and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 8-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Marana has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. The victory got Chandler back to even at 8-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marana will take on Rincon/University at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rincon/University has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.63 runs per game on average), something Marana will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Chandler, they will square off against Casteel at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
