Joshua Gibson Game Report: vs John Paul II

On Friday, Joshua Gibson posted his first game with 100+ rushing yards. He rushed for 267 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, but sadly Thomas Heyward Academy still had to take a 47-21 loss at the hands of John Paul II. We rated that as his best performance since August 29th, when he made 11 total tackles.

Looking ahead, Gibson and Thomas Heyward Academy are taking a road trip to take on Carolina Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The last time Gibson duked it out with the Bobcats (back in October of 2024), the Rebels came out on top by a score of 51-6. Will another strong game from Gibson be enough to do it again?
