Baseball Recap: Natick Takes a Loss

Natick had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 4-3 to make it eight. They fell just short of the Holliston Panthers by a score of 5-4. If the Redhawks were looking for revenge after losing 13-3 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Holliston, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since May 22, 2024.

For Holliston's part, Sam Schoenberg was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one double.

Natick didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-3 loss against North Attleborough on the 24th. As for Holliston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-1 defeat against Leominster on the 27th.
