Soccer Recap: Camden Takes a Loss

Camden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Richland Northeast Cavaliers, falling 5-1. Camden were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Richland Northeast apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Camden's goal came courtesy of Osmin Manueles, who's now up to two this season.

Camden's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Richland Northeast, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden will take on South Pointe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richland Northeast, they will square off against Lugoff-Elgin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Richland Northeast will be up against Lugoff-Elgin's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.58 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
