Baseball Recap: Gallatin Green Wave vs. Hendersonville Commandos

After flying high against Hendersonville last Monday, Gallatin came back down to earth. The Gallatin Green Wave suffered a tough 12-2 loss at the hands of the Hendersonville Commandos on Tuesday. Gallatin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hendersonville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played.

For Hendersonville's part, Mason Baker was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Houston Bogle, who scored a run and stole a base.

Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hendersonville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10-3.

Gallatin will head out on the road to square off against Mount Juliet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gallatin's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Mount Juliet's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hendersonville, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Station Camp at 7:00 p.m.
