Basketball Game Preview: Reserve Mountaineers vs. Animas Panthers

Reserve is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Animas a 19-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Reserve Mountaineers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Animas Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Reserve was beaten by Cliff 71-40.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-29, which was the final score in Animas' tilt against Quemado on Thursday.

Reserve's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Animas, their loss dropped their record down to 0-23.

Reserve was able to grind out a solid win over Animas in their previous meeting last Saturday, winning 47-40. Does Reserve have another victory up their sleeve, or will Animas turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
