It was a good run, but Oswego East unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the York Dukes.

Tyler Vlcek paced Oswego East's offense, picking up five kills. Vlcek got some help from Max Coleman and his 13 assists. Finally, Sean Scott kept Oswego East's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Oswego East's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for York, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Oswego East is on the road again on Saturday to play Homewood-Flossmoor at 9:00 a.m. As for York, they will challenge Plainfield East at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
