Lockport won the last time they faced Stagg and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Porters came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 2-0.

Lockport not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Stagg between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17.

Hutsyn Timosciek paced Lockport's offense, picking up eight kills. Timosciek got some help from Natalie Bochantin and her ten assists. Emma Consigny controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lockport's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Stagg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Lockport and Stagg should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Porters (ranked eighth) will meet Oswego East (ranked 175th) at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Stagg will take on Tinley Park at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (164 vs. 607).
