Cortez Jenkins put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Saturday. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
