Football Recap: Poudre Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Praise Oluniyi and Mason Carter + How To Watch

Poudre lost against Timnath back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Impalas took a 24-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cubs.

Poudre's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mason Carter, who rushed for 87 yards, and Praise Oluniyi, who rushed for 73 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Mitchell Deangelis had a dynamite game For Timnath., rushing for 119 yards and a pair of TDs. What's more, Deangelis posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in August of 2024.

Poudre's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Poudre will take on Riverdale Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Timnath, they will challenge Severance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
