            Softball Recap: River City Raiders vs. Davis Sr. Blue Devils        
        
		
        
        
            River City was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They lost  11-1 to the Davis Sr. Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  8-1  last Thursday.
 River City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Emily San Jose, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.  Emily Sauceda also deserves some recognition as  she  stole her first  stolen base of the season.
River City's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Davis Sr., the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
 Coming up, River City will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Woodland  at 8:45  a.m. As for Davis Sr., they will challenge Pioneer at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. Davis Sr. is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8  runs per game  this season.
