Baseball Recap: Mingus Takes a Loss

Mingus made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Prescott, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Marauders fell just short of the Badgers by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Marauders have struggled against the Badgers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Kaden Pusl was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Mingus' defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Prescott, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

While Mingus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
