South Salem extended their road winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Connor Wolfgram. The Saxons walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sprague Olympians on Thursday for which the team can thank Wolfgram, who had 42 assists and eight digs. He has been hot, having posted 14 or more assists the last seven times he's played.
The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 18-25, 25-17.
South Salem's win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Coming up, South Salem will challenge McNary at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sprague will be paying especially close attention to the Saxons' match: after the Saxons face off against South Albany, they'll take on Sprague again at 7:00 p.m. on May 13.
