Basketball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the DeKalb Barons, falling 69-20. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-6.

Despite the loss, New Haven still got an impressive performance from A'Lanah Webb, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 60% of New Haven's points, marking the third time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for DeKalb, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
