Volleyball Recap: Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against King's Christian Academy

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King's Christian Academy Lions on Tuesday. While the Ospreys didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-19 in the first set.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-23.

Looking ahead, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Blue Ridge Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. King's Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
