Baseball Game Preview: Ector Eagles vs. Collinsville Pirates

Ector is 1-9 against Collinsville since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Ector will venture away from home to face off against Collinsville at 6:30 p.m.

Ector lost 9-3 to Honey Grove on Friday.

Meanwhile, Collinsville entered their tilt with Tom Bean on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Tomcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted since May 22, 2024.

Collinsville's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Ector, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
