Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Raleigh Christian Academy). They put the hurt on the Raleigh Charter Phoenix with a sharp 6-1 win on Thursday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's offense was hitting Raleigh Charter from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Lily Pelter led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

North Raleigh Christian Academy now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Raleigh Charter, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

North Raleigh Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Ravenscroft on the 17th. As for Raleigh Charter, they will host Research Triangle Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Raleigh Charter's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
