Baseball Recap: Central Red Devils vs. Dexter Tigers
Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Dexter Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Central of the 7-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Cadieux, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Dexter, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will face off against Lee Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dexter, they will head out on the road to take on Foxcroft Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Foxcroft Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Dexter surely won't give up without a fight.
