Baseball Recap: Mishicot Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Mary Catholic on Monday, Mishicot came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Chilton Tigers on Friday, falling 11-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2021.

Mishicot's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Chilton, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Mishicot wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-2 defeat against St. Mary Catholic on the 2nd. As for Chilton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-2 loss against Kiel on the 2nd.
