Taylor Prep is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Advanced Tech Academy just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 74-38 loss at the hands of the Lakers.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 38-10, which was the final score in Merritt Academy's tilt against Chavez Academy on Tuesday. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Everything went Taylor Prep's way against Merritt Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Taylor Prep made off with a 52-27 victory.
