Softball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century was the 6-5 winner over Beaverton when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Jaguars' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Century saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Kinney, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Bailey Udasco also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Beaverton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Century will challenge Gresham at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beaverton, they will square off against Reynolds at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
