Basketball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman was the 62-60 winner over Choudrant when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Quitman Wolverines received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 89-75 to the Choudrant Aggies. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wolverines came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Aggies are ranked 290th).

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Choudrant, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-19 record this season.

Quitman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-56 loss against Simsboro on the 13th. As for Choudrant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-63 defeat against Claiborne Christian on the 13th.
