Basketball Recap: Westview Skates Past Sunset with Ease

Westview won the last time they faced Sunset and things went their way on Friday too. The Westview Wildcats breezed by the Sunset Apollos to the tune of 74-41. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Westview is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for Sunset, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7.

Coincidentally, Westview and Sunset will both be playing Aloha the next time they take the court. Westview will host Aloha at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sunset will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
