Pleasant Valley extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 10-6 in the process. They blew past the Pocono Mountain West Panthers 13-3. Considering the Bears have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kailyn Getz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Getz was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Jovie Valenzuela was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. She also snagged a stolen base, marking her first of the season. Emma DePalma was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
