Baseball Recap: Campbellsville Takes a Loss

Campbellsville had taken Adair County down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Indians by a score of 6-5. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Campbellsville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kace Eastridge, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another was Dax Gray, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Campbellsville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-13 record this season. As for Adair County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-9.

As of now, neither Campbellsville nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
