Basketball Recap: Austin Comes Up Short

Austin suffered their biggest defeat since January 24th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors, falling 36-13. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 40-37 to the Desert Warriors when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Santa Teresa, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Austin will head out on the road to square off against KIPP Somos Collegiate at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Santa Teresa, they will challenge Patterson Institute at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
