Baseball Recap: Grand Island Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

While Grand Island's win against Kenmore East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Bulldogs on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Grand Island pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Kenmore East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.
