Pacelli moved up to 327 from 374 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in A Region 4. The Vikings were able to make the jump by beating Central 35-0.
Pacelli extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Hawks, 35-0. The win marks fourth in a row for the Randy Grace's team.
Brendon Jackson made the biggest impact on defense this week as Marion County bested Greenville. The senior pulled down one interception and recorded one fumble.
Tra Minter was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 252 yards on 36 carries as Schley County lost to Dooly County. Jack Peavy also contributed to the rushing game with 55 yards on the ground.
Aj Smith put up the best numbers through the air as the Bobcats defeated the Cougars. He finished with 11 completions for 127 yards and one touchdown. Smith's favorite target this week was Tyrone Anderson, who caught five passes for 67 yards.
Lingo was the best wideout in A Region 4 this week as Brookstone lost to Dooly County. Lingo tallied nine receptions for 99 yards. Mark McVay helped Brookstone's passing attack out by catching four balls for 76 yards.
The Cougars' Duncan Fletcher and Lingo have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Fletcher has thrown for 688 yards this season, while Lingo has 21 catches for 255 yards. The Wildcats' Minter leads the league in rushing yards with 868.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Brookstone takes on the Vikings. As it stands, the Cougars are in fifth, while Pacelli is in first.
