Basketball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. The matchup between them and the Silver Fighting Colts didn't end well, with the Chaparral Lobos falling 55-40. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-33 last Tuesday.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Silver, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaparral will head out to challenge Santa Teresa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Silver, they will head out on the road to take on Deming at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
