Tustin and Canyon are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2018, but likely not for long. The Tillers will be playing at home against the Comanches at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tustin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Tustin turned things around against Godinez Fundamental on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Grizzlies a 1-0 shutout. Tyler Stoney had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Tustin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canyon). They had just enough and edged out Santiago 2-1 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for Canyon in their matchups with Santiago: they've now won three in a row.

Tustin's win bumped their record up to 2-4-1. As for Canyon, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-2.
