Soccer Game Preview: Northwest vs. Trinity

The Northwest Texans will take on the Trinity Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Northwest fell victim to Byron Nelson and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Bobcat. While losing is never fun, Northwest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 308th, while Byron Nelson are ranked 79th).

Trinity fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against V.R. Eaton. That's two games straight that Trinity have won by just one goal.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 3-13-2. As for Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13-1.
