Recap: Jordan Falcons vs. Panther Creek Catamounts
The Jordan Falcons pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a serious blow against Panther Creek, falling 89-57. Jordan lost against Panther Creek in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 73-63 score last time.
Panther Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Ware, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. The contest was Ware's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chris Uwayo, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 assists.
Jordan now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Panther Creek, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will square off against The Burlington School at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Burlington School knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine contests -- so hopefully Jordan likes a good challenge. As for Panther Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Southeast Raleigh at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
