Baseball Recap: West Morgan Takes a Loss

West Morgan and New Hope squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but West Morgan had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 4-2. The Rebels just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

West Morgan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Borden, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one triple. The Rebels are 7-2 when Borden posts two or more stolen bases, but 8-12 otherwise.

West Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for New Hope, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-15 record.

While West Morgan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
