Volleyball Game Preview: Providence Catholic Celtics vs. Washington Panthers

The Providence Catholic Celtics will face off against the Washington Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Providence Catholic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Lemont by a score of 2-0.

LaSalle-Peru typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Washington proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cavaliers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since September 23rd.

Washington had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Providence Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 33-6. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 23-14.
