Football Game Preview: Electra Tigers vs. Archer City Wildcats

The Electra Tigers will face off against the Archer City Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Archer City took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Electra, who comes in off a win.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Electra and Munday had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers blew past the Moguls 42-20 on Friday. Considering the Tigers have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Archer City came up short against Haskell on Friday, falling 44-18. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost three in a row.

Archer City's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Electra, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Electra took a serious blow against Archer City when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 63-0. Thankfully for the Tigers, Landon Smith (who rushed for 152 yards and four scores on only 14 carries, and also threw for 141 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes) won't be suiting up this time.
