Football Recap: Delhi's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday + How To Watch

Delhi's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 16-12 victory over the Gustine Reds. The win was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Delhi was led to victory by Bryan Martinez and Ivan Rhodes. Martinez rushed for 84 yards, while Rhodes gained 59 total yards. What's more, Martinez racked up 105.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August.

Crue Correa and Jack Swafford certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Correa rushed for 134 yards and one TD while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, while Swafford gained 117 total yards. Gustine is 2-1 when Correa posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 0-7 otherwise.

Delhi's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Gustine, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Delhi nor the Reds have any future games scheduled.
