Volleyball Recap: Stephens County Comes Up Short

Stephens County lost against Fannin County back in August of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Fannin County found their leader in sophomore Amberly Patterson, who had five digs and four aces. Patterson has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Stephens County's loss dropped their record down to 5-27. As for Fannin County, they now have a winning record of 18-17.

Stephens County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Franklin County on the 7th. As for Fannin County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Union County on the 2nd.
