Soccer Game Preview: Park Tudor vs. Mishawaka Marian

The Park Tudor Panthers will square off against the Mishawaka Marian Knights at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Park Tudor comes in on five and Mishawaka Marian on seven.

Park Tudor is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Lawrenceburg a 2-0 shutout. Sydney Shattuck had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Park Tudor got from the refs.

Kelsey Nehrling and Shattuck scored both of Park Tudor's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.

Meanwhile, Mishawaka Marian beat Delta 2-0 on Saturday. Given Mishawaka Marian's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Delta are ranked 43rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mishawaka Marian's victory bumped their record up to 14-4-2. As for Park Tudor, their win bumped their record up to 15-5-3.
