Baseball Recap: Blair Comes Up Short

Blair made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bellevue West, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bears fell just short of the Thunderbirds by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bears have suffered since April 7th.

Blair saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brevin Leggott, who went 1-for-4 with one double.

Blair has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season. As for Bellevue West, their record is now 17-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blair will face off against rival Lincoln Southeast at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bellevue West is set to challenge their familiar foe Omaha Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
