Basketball Recap: McKenzie Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McKenzie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Gleason Bulldogs, falling 77-51. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

McKenzie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gleason, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, McKenzie won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Greenfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets have insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests. As for Gleason, they will take on Clarksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
