Worth County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Westover Patriots a 3-0 shutout. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Worth County hit Westover with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ansley Bartley, Brooklyn Youngblood, and Shermiah Donaldson.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worth County is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Echols County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westover, they will challenge Sumter County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
