Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manteo). They blew past the Perquimans Pirates 10-1 on Monday. Carter Sawyer was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win (which was Manteo's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those four matches. As for Perquimans, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
