With a playoff win on the line, Seminole rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Estacado Matadors by a score of 7-3. The victory was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Rowin Donaldson made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Michael Ray, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Obed Reyes, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Seminole hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in eight consecutive contests.

Seminole pushed their record up to 28-7 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Estacado, they now have a losing record of 17-18-1.

Seminole will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Matadors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
